Featuring: God's Perfect Love Drives Out Fear

"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment." 1 John 4:18

Fear is a terrorist; it can overtake you and overwhelm you. But when you remember that God loves you simply for who you are, when you focus on his immeasurable love for you, this drives out fear. A big part of the fight is realizing you have a God who will always fight for you, that roots for you and stands up for you. This is not because you are perfect, but because you are his and his love covers you.

There is a reason why there is a version of “fear not” over 100 times in the Bible. The Lord knows it is something we will suffer from. But with God, it will not overtake us. So, as Joyce Meyer would say "Do it Afraid". Keep going because God's got you.
