Featuring: Double Double

"Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours." Isaiah 61:7

The battles are hard, the struggles are real and the pain is at times unbearable. We wonder is it worth it; when will relief come. This verse is a reminder that God will show up and not only show up, but restore you.

The restoration God wants to do in you, is to change you to be more like Christ. His restoration is not just about the physical, but to heal you internally. This verse lists the healing God wants to do. Shame is a defeated or degraded state, where you feel less than and hide for fear of what others will think or do. God says he wants to remove that shame and give you a double portion to live fully in knowing who he is. Shame like mold, grows in the dark. And unless you allow the Lord to heal it, and REPLACE it with his portion, it will continue to cover what God has placed in you. God always wants to replace your disgrace, so that you may rejoice in your future, because your inheritance is future gains. God wants you to celebrate (inherit) where you live. And the most beautiful part is that God wants to give you everlasting joy.

Allow the Lord to heal your wounds and replace them with HIS portion.
